David Ruffley Supports Local Post Office Trial

Friday, 14 June, 2013

At 11am on Friday 14 June, David Ruffley MP visited Bury St Edmunds Post Office to open his own new Post Office Current Account being trialled at 29 post office branches in East Anglia, including at Bury.

The trial will provide valuable insight into how Post Office Ltd could adapt its Current Account packages, before a planned launch across the whole network takes place in 2014.

David said: “The Post Office is well established, trusted and respected, so it is great that The Post Office has launched these Current Accounts. With 11,800 branches nationwide, including several in my constituency, everybody has a branch nearby. Banking with a Post Office Current Account is therefore easy.”
