David Ruffley MP will visit DanceEast at Jerwood Dance Studios, Ipswich on Friday 27 January at 11am.

David Ruffley said: 'DanceEast is an excellent project which brings music and movement to a wide audience. Far from the preconception of toddlers in tutus, the dance projects run engage with men, women and children of all ages and backgrounds.

I will meeeting with Assis Carreiro, Artistic Director and Chief Executive, and Lucy Taylor, Head of Development.

As well nurturing young Suffolk talent in the DanceEast Academy the organisation champions a range of socially inclusive projects like classes in Ipswich Hospital and outreach sessions in residential homes, libraries and community and day care centres. The Adult and Community Services (ACS) project aims to get, and keep, older people active through dance activities in the community.'
