David calls for TSC inquiry into regulators and crisis

Following the admission by the Governor of the Bank of England that the Bank should accept its share of responsibility in going along with a system of banking that failed, David Ruffley MP has written to the Chair of the Treasury Select Committee, Andrew Tyrie MP, calling for the Treasury Select Committee (TSC) to investigate the role of all three regulators - the Treasury, the Financial Services Authority, and the Bank of England - before and during the financial crisis.
